The Face of Depression, Short Version

The struggle is not as visible as people believe. It can be invisible.

During Suicide Awareness Month, there were many posts and calls to reach out to people. One doctor wrote that people cannot hide it in a phone call and definitely not face to face.

I beg to differ.

You could have come over, brought beers and pizza, and I would have laughed with you the entire time. You would have never have known.

Not only does the stigma of mental health need to be challenged but the perception of it as well.
