There are two more days left to get the free ePub of my book from Amazon. Please share.
The PDF will be available for free permanently, and I am trying to figure out how to have the ePub there as well.
The point is not so much to make money but to get the word out there, my story, that may be able to help people understand themselves better and their loved ones who might be struggling. It is hard to explain. It is hard to accept.
In one chapter, I use my broken ankle as an example. People, strangers even, couldn’t do enough for me. Hell, they yelled at me when I was trying to do something for myself. There was nobody saying “just get over it” or “walk it off.” I realized that a broken ankle is the same thing as a depressive episode but without the visual of a cast.
Come into my world and experience the life of a depressive, the altered reality and the struggles of trying to explain it to people who care.
To mental health care professionals: some of the chapters are inspired by you, your posts and articles. As a journalist and storyteller, I feel I can articulate ideas, experiences and thoughts that others may have difficulty expressing.
